It's 1 AM and the 0Hour Game Jam just started. It's time to [[make a game]]. But I am tired, I could [[sleep]].

Oh but making a game takes a ton of energy, wouldn't you rather just [[sleep]]? You fight such thoughts as you start making a game in Twine. It's the easiest way you don't have time for anything more complex. You'll call it [[0Hour]] and it will be about making a game in the 0Hour. [[But what is exciting about that?]] [[That idea is stupid!]]

Yeah, who needs the stress of trying to make something without taking any time. That's impossible... [[Dream]] [[Don't Dream]]

Although time is just some sort of illusion or trap, it's novel to play with the idea of having made something in no clock time. But impossible, as the hour is really passing right now. Nothing is free. Speaking of which, [[how do I get out of here?]]

You are not going to take this without a fight! Neither will the game! Suddenly you are swung at with a sword. You find a staff in your hand and quickly react to block: Where do you hold your staff against the attack? [[Its Edge!|It's Edge]] [[Hit the wrist!]] [[Duck|Duck!]]

I'm pretty sure you know how to get out then. But just all the [[x]]'s on your screen. Or like, alt f4 on windows, command q or w on OS[[X|x]]. [[What are you talking about?]]

The edge slices the very fabric of the story apart and you must try to find a better ending. ENDING FOUND: SLICED [[0Hour]]

You hit the wrist of your formless foe and your staff seems to disappear through the attack. Another slice is coming your way! [[It's Edge|Take it in the face!]] [[Duck!]]

You dodge the phantom blade and quickly notice it's owner is nothing but a shadow! [[Use your phone light on it!]] [[I can't find my phone!]] [[Use Magic Missle]]

You taste the blade. like yeah, for some reason you wanted to take it in the face. Might as well get a lick on the foe right? [[Tastes like metal. Tastes like blood.|It's Edge]]

I'm talking about the forth wall. Trying to break it. Okay, you've got me in a corner here. ENDING: Author in a corner. [[0Hour]]

You lay down in your comfortable spot and rest, shortly after closing your eyes you are granted visions of wonderful stories and games. It's as if it's enought to bring you back into the spirit of the 0Hour Game Jam. YEAH! Let's [[make a game]]! Wait, is that _____ ? [[Follow the dream]]

The night is over and your dreamless sleep was refeshing, if not dark and like the very void we all come from and will return to. Sorry, not a morning person. ENDING FOUND: Did nothing! [[0Hour]]

You think you see someone, and quickly forget that you are only seeing your own dream visions! You sleep through the 0Hour Game jam... [[But what is this?]]

"Hey! It's you from the future, you have to make the 0hour game jam game, or things start to go really badly and I have to come back in time to warn you!" [[Warn me about what?]] [[But it's already morning? How do I get back?]]

"The impending death of all things if you don't make this game!" [[Keep looking at the sky]].

"Take our time machine. If you succeed, I won't ever even exist." [[But what about you?]] [[I'll do it.]]

"It's too late for me. Don't take any time. Get back to the [0Hour]!" Suddenly the sky starts to turn white. [[Keep looking at the sky]] [[Jump in the time machine!|0Hour]]

You jump into the time machine. Which is understandably shaped like a hula hoop. [[If it works]] you'll be taken back to the [[0Hour]]...

"What are you doing! Get in the [[Time Machine!|0Hour]] A wave of heat approaches and you feel the end is nea- ENDING FOUND: Swallowed by the sun [[0Hour]]

The shadow and blade disappear. Your fight with the phantom is over... [[Keep making the game!]]

Did I leave it in the car? at my desk? [[Oh dang.|It's Edge]] [[Wait it's in my other pocket!|Use your phone light on it!]] [[Oh, it's in my hand I'm playing this game...]]

You didn't prepare that spell! The foe's [[edge|It's Edge]] strikes you swiftly!

What kind of game? [[Something easy]] [[Make it a puzzle]] [[Well it has to have more fighting!]]

What game? ENDING FOUND: Broke the fourth wall. [[0Hour]]

Oh, you don't think it will work? To bad you didn't it's a time machine that runs on the power of faith. The machine takes you back to the very beginning. WAY before the [[0Hour]]. ENDING FOUND: Yee of little faith.

I think some kind of interactive story telling game would be pretty cool. Maybe let the player make some choices about what they will be doing, but tell the same story or tell the fate of the character's death. [[Okay, let's do this.]] [[That idea is stupid!]]

Okay, how will you find you way out of this one? [[A trap!|Quickly react]] Or just tell me the answer to life the universe and everything: [[Food]] [[42]]

Sure thing! A kobold and a goblin appear to stop you dead in your tracks! [[Use Magic Missle]]! [[Kick the Kobold, Glob the Gob.]] [[Run away!]]

You open up twine and start creating a game. It winds the reader and player around in circles as they feel what it is like to have the pressure of making a game in an hour, while still wanting to be funny and produce a quality product. Something about it feels, unoriginal. But you'll have to think about that more when you have time. ENDING FOUND: Out of time. [[0Hour]] --- Hey everyone that made it here, qst0 here. You see yourself throw a hoop around you and you are sudednly spinning in a void of space and time. All you have seen in life swirls around you. Leaving and returning all at once. [[Embrace it!]] [[Reject it!]]

You swirl back into the [[0Hour]]. Your memory is intact. Maybe you can do it right this time. [[Naw, just sleep|sleep]]

What! I didn't sign up for this nonsense. [[how do I get out of here?]] [[Keep looking at the sky]].

Oh yeah, food. That sounds like a good idea... You start to forget that you need to make a game as you smell the tasty treats of your imagination... Suddenly so sleepy... [[Dream]] [[Snap out of it!]]

But what is the question? [[Should I make a game?]] [[Six times Seven]]
